12 August, 2015

Social Saturday 10th October 2015 – What does Buy Social Mean to You?

Social Saturday 2014 was a huge success! Social Enterprise West Midlands CIC (SEWM CIC) is once again holding an online digital showcase to promote the great social enterprises in the region and the positive impacts being made by people buying social!

To mark Social Saturday 2015 on the 10th October, SEWM CIC want your photos and videos which showcase the importance of people purchasing from social enterprises and the difference being made following those purchasing decisions.

The focus of this year’s campaign is to understand the social value being created and delivered by social enterprises through people making proactive decisions to make their money go further.

This campaign is not just about simply promoting social enterprise products and services. It can be a personal story of the importance of social enterprises’ presence in communities and in the regional economy.

Download our Social Saturday flyer for more information!

If you are interested in booking your Social Saturday video slot and want to send your photos and videos email [email protected] or call 0345 450 7515.

If you are a social enterprise…We want to hear what it means for you when people purchase your products and services.

If you contract the services of a social enterprise…Why is it important for your business to purchase from social enterprises? Why do you choose to Buy Social and what benefits and value to you gain from contracting with the sector.

If you are a service user/community who benefits from a social enterprise…How do you benefit from a particular social enterprise or social business? How have they changed your life and community and what does their presence means to you?

If you a member of the general public who purchases from social enterprise…What do you buy and which social enterprises do you purchase from? Why do you choose to purchase from social enterprises?

SEWM are planning to upload and promote those videos through scheduled releases on the 10th October via our YouTube channel as well as through our social media platforms also. We will be sharing your photographs too!
