Social Enterprise Summer School 2010: Have you booked your place?

In the months following last year’s social enterprise summer school I got out and about, talking to the people who went, and I was really struck by the fact that everyone was just dying to tell me about the impact the summer school had on them, as well as on their social enterprises (I had a queue at one network meeting!).

We surveyed delegates some 8 months after the event, and the majority of those who went completed the survey. Now I’m not new to surveying people but believe me, “8 months later” and “the majority” are not often seen together in this context, especially when the feedback is so positive. It’s also been great to see how many of the relationships which grew over the 2 days of the summer school have been sustained; collaborating, trading, supporting one another and other people across the sector.

Because the feedback was so positive, and the evidence of the impact so strong, we are running the summer school again this year.

‘Developing your Social Enterprise’ is an organisational development programme specifically designed for leaders and senior managers of social enterprises preparing for growth or significant business development.

We are keeping last year’s great location, and inviting back Oliver Nyumbu, together with a host of other brilliant experts in their fields, all with genuine world-class experience of coaching senior managers. I for one can’t wait to see the impact this year’s summer school has on our regions social enterprises…

Watch what some of last years delegates had to say about the benefits of the summer school….
