‘Be Inspired’ Jobs Fair - 27 September 2010

Our work with JCP (Jobcentre Plus) Regional Office West Midlands continues to forge ahead. It’s always great to meet people in partner organisations that really get what social enterprise is and want their team and their customers to understand it too, so that they can explore the opportunities that social enterprise presents.
On 27 September, JCP are holding a ‘Be Inspired’ Jobs Fair at the ICC in Birmingham, to showcase both permanent and seasonal (Christmas) vacancies. We want to make sure our regions social enterprises get a platform to advertise their vacancies too.
SEWM will be having a double stand at the event, which will feature a ‘Social Enterprise Jobs Corner’. Shemaine Rose, SEWM Communications Officer, will be appealing for social enterprises to send us their job vacancies to advertise at the event (templates and deadlines will be circulated via our weekly round-up).
I will also be holding some general information sessions on the day, to ensure that as many attendees as possible leave knowing what a social enterprise is and why they might want to work in one!
It would be great to have more social enterprise employers represented at the event, so if you have any upcoming vacancies, internships or work placements, and would like to advertise yourself and have a stand at the event, do let me know!!
