Social Value in Construction Conference Survey - Full Summary Report Published!
11 May, 2015Social Enterprise West Midlands have published the full summary report from our Social Value in Construction Conference Survey from April 2015.
The survey, sponsored by Laker BMS Ltd, was taken on the day of the Conference which took place on the 23rd April at The University of Wolverhampton. The aim of the survey was to establish an idea of the sector’s understanding and application of social value. It will also help the sector to understand and develop opportunities for social enterprises in the marketplace.
SEWM asked delegates a range of questions including: what sectors attendees represented, which departments/roles focused on corporate social responsibility within their organisation, what social value they were currently delivering, what percentage of their supply chains included social enterprises, what challenges or barriers the sector faced in engaging enterprises in supply chains and more. We were delighted that one-third of delegates completed the survey.
