National Consortium of Social Enterprises - 4th December 2013
SEWM has teamed up with the National Consortium of Social Enterprises to bring this event to our region.
3SC, Social Firms UK and Social Enterprise UK have launched an exciting new initiative to increase opportunities for Social Enterprises to respond to the procurement of public services. The National Consortium of Social Enterprises is funded by the National Offender Management Service Co-financing Organisation and the European Social Fund.
The event is specifically for Social Enterprises interested in working in a consortium and is driven by a mutual determination to increase the opportunities and the ability of the social enterprise sector to participate in the delivery of public services. Our focus is on improving the employment prospects for offenders and other individuals far from the labour market to increase their employability, and find and sustain quality jobs.
Delegates will have the opportunity to find out about the National Offender Management Service Commissioning, the development of the National Consortium of Social Enterprises, the benefits of consortia working and, perhaps most importantly, meet like-minded partners.
