It will also give you the basic principles for effective human resources management, so that you can apply them practically to your organisation - you’ll be surprised at how simple it can be. Facilitator Jan Golding Chartered FCIPD is the founder and Chief Executive of Roots Human Resources CIC, the UK’s first social enterprise providing human resources consultancy services. Jan is a former National Training Award winner and judge and has 25 years experience of managing people at work. Working exclusively with the third sector, Roots HR provide services to help organisations to comply with employment law and to perform through great people management.

The seminar will be most suited to you if you are employing small numbers of people, wanting to learn from HR problems in the past, thinking about starting a social enterprise or simply need a reminder of the core principles of managing people. There will be the usual networking opportunities over the break and lunch.
