The Winning with 2012 Consultation Meeting was used to discuss the opportunities presented by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and how social enterprises in the West Midlands can take part in the delivery and legacy of the Games.

The roundtable meeting, chaired by SEWM Network Director Kevin Maton, highlighted the need for social enterprises to register on the CompeteFor website - a free service that enables businesses to compete for contract opportunities linked to the London 2012 Games and other major public and private sector buying organisations.

Paul Kaynes from the Arts Council gave a presentation about the Cultural Olympiad (download here).

The meeting was very positive, ensuring that social enterprises have all they need to engage the delivery and contribute to the success of the Games.
