We are pleased to announce that Sandwell Community Caring Trust (SCCT) are the winners of our 2009 Social Enterprise Day photography competition.

This year, we were on the look out to reward the best amateur photograph that shows how social enterprise is more than just business as usual

The competition was run in partnership with the Social Enterprise Coalition and the other eight regional social enterprise networks across England.

SCCT will receive a case study produced and featured within our quarterly magazine ‘se’, as well as the winning picture displayed at Voice10 - the UK conference for social enterprise in February 2010.

SCCT has been in existence for approximately 12 years and provides health and social care services such as; intermediate care, residential care, supported living, community meals and domiciliary care. Eighteen months ago, SCCT expanded to also offer services in the South West.

Kevin Maton, Network Director at SEWM, said: “This photography competition is a great way to display the brilliant work of social enterprises across the region. Sandwell Community Caring Trust is a shining example of how social enterprises are working day by day to help benefit their local communities.”
