Funding website launched

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and the Office of the Third Sector have launched a free website containing details of funding opportunities for voluntary and community sector organisations. Funding Central is a smart guide to over 4,000 grants, contracts and loans offered by local, regional, national and European funders.
The new website provides a wealth of tools and resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies appropriate to their needs. Phase one of Funding Central was launched on 17 June 2009 with further enhancements and additional tools and resources being released in September 2009.
Funding Central is a growing resource that also offers visitors the chance to sign up to the newsletter and get personalised funding updates, deadlines, news and events. For more information you can visit the site at www.fundingcentral.org.uk
