Social Enterprise West Midlands seeks to add value to the work of local and sub-regional networks that champion and support the social enterprise sector in their respective areas.
The West Midlands comprises of 6 sub-regions:
- Black Country (including Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley)
- Birmingham and Solihull
- Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin)
- Staffordshire
- Coventry and Warwickshire
- Herefordshire and Worcestershire
Most of the region is covered by partnerships or networks of support agencies, social enterprises and key stakeholders offering local services and resources.
A network of voluntary and community sector (VCS) led consortia also exists in the West Midlands. These consortia often work alongside social enterprise partnerships where they exist. Destination West Midlands is the regional network for VCS consortia.
