SENS - North Staffordshire

SENS is a network of key partners involved in the strategic development of the social economy in North Staffordshire. Its objectives are:

  1. To coordinate, facilitate, and encourage social enterprise development in North Staffordshire.
  2. To act as a voice for the social/community enterprise sector in North Staffordshire.
  3. To establish a clear & agreed definition of social/community enterprise for the remit of the Group’s activities.
  4. To identify funding opportunities for the development of the sector.
  5. (Assist with) appraisal of individual projects for relevant funding.
  6. To encourage communication between, and the development of Networks for, social enterprise practitioners.
  7. To share examples of good & best practice, including the facilitation of, and involvement in, social enterprise seminars, conferences, etc.
