TSELF (The Social Enterprise Loan Fund)

The Social Enterprise Loan Fund has made loans totalling £7million to social enterprises and charities across England over the past 14 years.

TSELF provides loans to charities and social enterprises that are unable to secure sufficient funding from mainstream sources and helps organisations that have a social impact, especially those working in disadvantaged communities.

A network of regional managers work closely with clients to ensure that loans meet their needs and help them become more sustainable enterprises.

Loan products

  • Loans to finance property purchase/improvements (loans of up to £250,000)

  • Loans to finance other fixed assets (usually for less than £100,000)

  • Loans for working captial (usually for less than £50,000)
